Influence of hydrogen on selected aspects of the deposit
In WP4, RAG, together with BOKU, is working on proving the chemical resistance of the overburden of the deposit during the injection and storage of up to 100% hydrogen. Based on the previous investigations, further knowledge and data on the flow of hydrogen through porous media will be collected and microbial activity in hydrogen-saturated porous media will be investigated. The results of WP4 will provide valuable insights in the field of geochemistry and microbiology.
