Development of hydrogen purification
Development and demonstration of a new hybrid hydrogen purification process (PSA + membrane) directly at the gas storage facility together with the partners Axiom and TU Vienna.
In WP 5, based on findings from the laboratory, a pilot plant for hydrogen purification will be implemented to ensure high quality at the storage site.
In addition, a process control system will be developed to achieve hydrogen quality levels according to the specifications of the different end applications. Gas quality measurements and gas sampling will be carried out as part of WP 9 to ensure use by mobility and industrial customers.
