“Zukunft Gas” from Germany invited a number of journalists from German specialist media to visit the pioneering plants of RAG Austria AG as part of a press tour end of May. The two-day event also took the guests to the “Underground Sun Storage” in Rubensdorf.
Stephan Bauer, Head of Green Gas Technology, gave a tour of the site and the visitor platform and provided an insight into the seasonal storage of renewable energy in the form of hydrogen in underground sandstone pore reservoirs.
