Residents and information day at the recently opened "Underground Sun Storage" in Rubensdorf

The day after the opening of the "Underground Sun Storage" in Rubensdorf, on Friday afternoon there was an opportunity for interested residents and representatives of regional politics to visit the new facility and learn about the worldwide unique project. The mayors of the surrounding communities Jürgen Lachinger (mayor, community of Gampern) and Ernst Pachler (mayor, community of Berg im Attergau) were also invited and did not miss this opportunity.

During guided tours with the experts of RAG and the project partners, the visitors received first-hand comprehensive information about the facility and an insight into the energy storage of the next generation.

It is very important to us to talk personally with the residents and communities in the regions where we operate and to inform them in detail about our operating activities. Therefore, we are particularly pleased that so many interested visitors were on site despite the bad weather.
